While we all would like to see the Win-Loss record be better, the key to the WM Laker organization and these two teams is the focus and determination to Play as a team to be competitive and get better, and also Team and Parent Unity. We accomplished both of these in Championship Style. While a lot or programs talk or wish for this, The Lakers players and parents do this year after year. This is a large part of why the West Michigan Lakers organization has risen to the top and become one of the "Elite" programs in the state of Michigan.
A huge THANK YOU to all of the boy's parents who have invested in their son's basketball experience through West Michgan Lakers Basketball.
The 17U did it again in convincing fashion! DEFENSE was the name of their game as they held the Road Runners to 36 points in the semi-final and Camp Darryl to 26 points in the final.
Congratulations to Josh Weatherspoon for being selected the Tournament Most Valuable Player. Also Congrats to Wes Hudson and Austin Semple for being selected to the All Tournament Team.
